Michael Pollock is originally from Boston and made his first solo trip outside the continental U.S. before his 18th birthday. He’s been traveling the world for over thirty years and it is by far his greatest passion. In the mid 1980’s Michael spent a great deal of time wandering the Caribbean as a SCUBA diving instructor and guide. It was during this period that he developed a love for photography; shooting photos beneath the blue waves of the Caribbean Sea for the better part of a decade.
Michael spent another decade working and travelling in central and South America before turning his attention to Asia. SInce 2015 Michael has explored the region as a full time traveler.
Michael is currently based in Thailand, taking photographs, and writing travel articles.
The idea is to create a professional travel site which will serve as a platform to display my photographs and post articles. The site will offer unbiased travel advice based on my many trips to Asia and back. If anyone has photos from their favorite Asian destination not yet included here, and would like to collaborate on a new page please feel free to contact me. This site is a work in progress; feel free to email me with your questions, comments or suggestions.
