A day off in Negombo

After almost three weeks of train travel and tourism, I decided to regroup in Negombo and dedicate the day to this website. I started this journey from Sri Lank's capital of  Colombo, taking trains to Kandy, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Anuradhapura and finally Negombo. I wanted travel as much as possible by train which often led me to take the longest routes possible. I'm in no particular hurry, train travel is about the journey as well as the destination. To get to Sigiriya & Drambulla I had no choice but to hire a car, the air conditioning was very much appreciated after climbing to the top of the Lion Rock. I have plenty of pictures and info to build  a Sri Lanka page, hope to start that in the near future.

 A couple of good friends of mine pointed out a number of typos and misspelled words. I appreciate the help with that & will try to do a better job of self editing. Please feel free to point out my mistakes, they will be corrected as I endeavor to build a professional website.
